I found this link on the web, it was actually Facebook, and I myself have been a follower of the Vick dog fighting ring bust up, I am an advocate for Pit bulls, and think that they are amazing, and beautiful. I think Vick should seriously pay for what he did and so should all the people involved. When I read this I cried, because the letter to him hits home on so much, and it makes me wonder if he really cares what happened to his dogs, or were they looked at as just a means of income?? If that is the case, who in their right mind could do that? To me a person that could do that is not Human in any way shape or form. I don't get where a human who is suppose to have compassion and love can do that, does it put his kids in the ring to duke it out until the death, I mean to me and probably other animals loves, activist, and owners it is no different. Some of you might think I am wrong to compare fighting dogs to putting kids in the ring to fight for life, but to me it is not any different, my dogs are my kids. It is good to know that his champion did live out his days in a loving family, at least he was able to have an amazing death, since his life wasn't to great. I apologize for any offense I have made to anyone.

Puppy Phase
I was pet sitting for a new client of ours that has a 5 year old and a 10 week old puppy. Puppies are like babies to some people. When I see a puppy I get the same pull as to when a mother sees a baby. I have never had a want for a human child however when it comes to animals I have the same want as one would have for a human child. With that being said I was watching this new clients babies and the first night went amazing, the puppy was on her best behavior going to sleep and everything. The second night however she whined all night long. Every hour waking me up whining, so I get up and take her out only for her to play :) and no matter how many times you told her otherwise she just simply didn't care :). Although I am missing the hours of sleep I didn't get last night I would not have change it for anything :) but it is going to make me rethink a puppy of my own very soon. Meet the puppy :)

Pet Insurance
To buy or not to buy? So my bailey is getting older and I recently had to fork out some serious money for her to have surgery. I have been thinking about getting an insurance policy for her but have been holding off in doing so, due to lack of not knowing which company to use. Well I have decided to go with VPInsurance and just bought her the emergency coverage. Surprisingly the policy reimburses quite a bit of things, and I figure something is better then nothing.
Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on pet insurance? I did a company comparison and they all seem to offer the same benefits and pricing :) so I shall see how this pet insurance pans out !!!!!

50 Most popular news stories of all time - from Paw Nation
I was cruising the internet when I came across this website of the 50 most popular news stories of all time from Paws Nation. Definitely a interesting read, there are new stories of different situations of animals, some not so funny, and some the human is more funnier then the animal. There are stories about hurt dolphins, and humans being chased up a tree by tigers. It has a little bit of everything but mostly its about the human counter part and how lets just say inexperienced they are, I am not going to say stupid, even though some are, the humans not the stories. So feel free to take a look. I hope you enjoy.

Therapy Dog Training
I don't know if I have said in previous posts, that my Saint Bernard Abbie is going through training to become a therapy dog. Well She is on step 3 of what seems like a million steps and a lot of money later :) She has passed her Canine good citizen test, and she has also passed the testing for the organization that she is going to be working for. All she has left now is testing for the insurance company that is going to hold the liability insurance, and she has to do some supervised visits. I personally think the visits are more for the human counter part then for the four legged one. I am excited to get her started, She has done super awesome through out this whole process, no matter what I think about myself in this process... Sometimes my confidence isn't my strongest asset :)
I will definitely post pictures of her when she gets her vest, and all that good stuff. :) Well I hope everyone has a happy Monday. :)
